jess24 Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 I've never been to DC before and am looking to stay for 2 nights June 14-16. I can't spend much - maybe $60 to $80 a night so am probably looking at 3 or 3.5 stars. My issue is that I will be driving so would need a hotel that would offer free or cheap parking. That said, I would assume that my options would be limited to some of the suburban zones (Zone 1, 2, 3, or 6). Which ones do people recommend? Are there other zones that are better than these? I would want a zone that is not too far from the tourist attractions in downtown DC and that I can easily access with the Metro/subway. Thanks for any advice.1 Alexandria East - Old Town – detail map Best deal 2 Alexandria West – detail map Best deal 3 Arlington – detail map Best deal 4 Bethesda, MD – detail map Best deal 5 Convention Ctr - Capitol Hill area – detail map Best deal 6 Crystal City – detail map Best deal 7 DC Suburbs - Northeast Area – detail map Best deal 8 Dupont Circle - Woodley Park – detail map Best deal 9 Georgetown - Foggy Bottom – detail map Best deal 10 Mount Vernon – detail map Best deal 11 National Harbor – detail map Best deal 12 Silver Spring, MD – detail map Best deal 13 White House - Downtown
