Priceline Hotel: Bidding advice please

I will be bidding on a room through Priceline in the next few days and would appreciate some advice. I am traveling with my adult daughter and husband and actually think I will get 2 rooms. I am hoping to find something for under 45 per room, (of course less would be great),before taxes. Not sure about how to deal with the 2 room issue.

We will be visiting George Mason University in Fairfax so I am thinking I will try to get something in either Fairfax or Falls Church.

I hope to get something at least in the 2.5* level, of course if I can get a 3* in this price range, so much the better!

What is it about the 2 rooms that you're unsure of?

I assume you want to bid up to your limit for a 3* hotel before lower to the 2.5* rating? What are the actual dates of your stay?
