Priceline Hotel: 4* Vancouver (Downtown) Renaissance

My girlfriend and I tried bidding yesterday without any luck.

1. Tried $85 for a 4* in Vancouver (Downtown), which was unsurprisingly rejected. We ignored the offer to rebid at $85 + $22.

2. Expanded the search by lowering the stars to 3* and greater, dropped down to $60, which was rejected.

3. Increased the bid to $70 and added the Entertainment District, which was rejected.

So, we gave it a rest for one night and tried again today...

I saw someone else had been successful with $101 for 4* in Downtown Vancouver, so I gave $100 a shot.

Surprisingly, $100 was accepted!

(Total cost was $241.48 for two nights and taxes.)

Priceline gave us the Renaissance Harbourside, which looks VERY nice.

Of course, now I'm wishing I had tried lower than $100 :)

BUT, it's a great price for a luxury hotel to celebrate a special birthday!
