This bid was won on 29th April. The final bid areas were Northwest, Medical Centre, Market Square Area.

I am a little disappointed as I was hoping for the Hyatt Place and also Residence Inn has a pretty bad TripAdvisor rating but we will see....

Update: RI was fine and much better than what I read in Tripadvisor. Admittedly the buildings are not new and the a/c was noisy but it was reasonably clean, quiet and with comfortable bed. I do still think the 3* might be a little high when compared to the Hyatt Place which was excellent. The only advantage of RI is the full kitchen facility that could be useful for multi days stay. Overall a very happy customer to both RI and HP :)
