Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Antonio (Riverwalk North-Alamo) Crowne Plaza Riverwalk

Bid for this area several times on PRICELINE, using rebid zones, and got up to $80. Using your HOTWIRE link, saw this offer and took it due to my previous success with HOTWIRE in Austin.

Amenities listed were: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry. The hotel is going for around $130 per nite on its site.

Unfortunately am not happy with this "win" at all; by all reviews on line this is not nearly a 4* property and it is not close to Riverwalk. I know using these type of opaque sites is a gamble and I wouldn't care if I got what I thought I was paying for; however, I feel this property was badly misrepresented by HOTWIRE. Really have never had this issue when using other travel services.

Hope this helps someone else when trying to decide what travel service to use.

Very sorry to hear you're disappointed with the result. This property appears to have recently been moved back to the 4* level by HOTWIRE. Hopefully the property will exceed expectations, but if not, I'd suggest writing HOTWIRE.
