Priceline Hotel: 3* San Diego (Del Mar) Doubletree Del Mar

My friend just won this.... with my help over the phone!

First tried downtown up to $55 for a 3*

Than Del Mar which failed at $32,

We tried Mission Valley 3* up to $45 returned to Del Mar and at 3* $45, we got a counter to add $13... tried $50 and than won at $53.

PL Vacations showed the Hilton Del Mar available as the cheapest so, we were surprised not to get the $32 deal that has been going around!!!

The VP product can certainly be helpful, but as with the rest of the opaque services, never guaranteed.
