I don't think you're too far off from a 4* MTE win - possibly in the $175-185 range.

Is $164 your desired max budget per night?

Yeah, I was hoping to get a 4* for that max. Hope in one hand....

I can go higher, but would rather not. Maybe another area is just as convenient for the weekend tourist? and will increase my chances? I can start over again tomorrow....

Any advice on Chelsea?? It seems like the 3* hotels on the Master List are underrated? Are there deals to be had on decent accomodations there? Is it an okay area to stay for the weekend?

Chelsea is fine and most of the hotels there seem to get decent reviews, but even with the good reviews, the highest rating currently offered in that zone is 3*, so you're not likely going to get the "4 star experience" you were seeking in your bidding above, so it really depends upon what you're looking for from this stay.

You could try for a 3* here or consider 3.5* in other nearby zones.
