imara74 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 :) Trying to find a hotel room with 2 double beds in Manhattan for 3 nights; 16-19 May. I am worried if I use Priceline, I may end up with hotel with only 1 queen bed. What is yr advice?Looking forward to it. Thanks.
yellowdog Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 With 3 adults and 1 child HOTWIRE would be the best option.Let us know how we can help you further.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
thereuare Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 I agree that in NYC, for more than double occupancy, searching HOTWIRE for 4 people would be better than "hoping for the best" with PRICELINE.What is your desired star rating and expected budget (per nite before taxes/fees) for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
imara74 Posted May 2, 2010 Author Report Posted May 2, 2010 Thanks for your opinion.I think i am looking for 3 or 3.5 star with maximum price of around $130 before tax. I saw holiday inn in Manhattan on a different website for $180 per night. That probably my alternative.I shall look into HOTWIRE link from this website. Thanks :)
AaronJB Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 When searching for 3 adults/1 child on HOTWIRE, the least expensive listing is a 3* in Midtown Central w/restaurant, fitness, pool, internet for $169, which would likely be the Holiday Inn Midtown. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
