speedgraphic Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 I'm sure someone will be by to help you out, but I'm looking for a good deal this week and not finding one. It's not a great time to use Priceline! :)
sennix Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 It looks like you are seeking for round Midtown and Time Square area around Mid-May. I'd tried that several time and was not able to get a right price. My recommendation is that you might need to look into Downtown-SoHo-Financial District area for a better deal. I got my winning priceline bid at the Hilton Millennium for 05/13-05/14 for 129$. Goodluck...

thereuare Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 If you haven't seen it yet, i would give this thread a read: Hotels Near Times SquareAt the 4* level is there a reason you're avoiding the CPS and/or MTW zones? At the 3.5* level how about the MSG, MTW and/or CPS zones? All of these are what i would consider 'pretty close' to Times Square (although as per above i would mention that being close to Times Square will actually prove to be less important than you think) Also, at the 3.5* level there are some hotels in the MTE zone which are a bit far each to be considered 'convenient' with a 15 minute walk to the subway, given your desire to be centrally located, i'd suggest potentially not bidding this zone at the 3.5* level.GTA Hotels has the Ritz Carlton Battery Park for $265/nite for your dates... while not that centrally located, it might be something to consider given the price and so you can forever say that you stayed at the Ritz for your honeymoon :)Let us know your thoughts regarding the zone info above and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (or our GTA Hotels link if you decide to go that route) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
