Using the bidding strategy from this site, I started at $100 and got $130 accepted at the Melia Alexander Boutique Hotel. The reviews are mixed, but seeing that the lowest rate I'd otherwise be able to book was $269 I got a great deal. I used the PRICELINE link from this site to bid.
