I'm looking at the possibility of using PRICELINE to book a trip in June/July. I was wondering if it is possible to know how much will be added in taxes and charges before bidding? We are looking to stay in Los Angeles and Las Vegas but are on a very tight budget.

Yes, you can do a 'dummy' bid on PRICELINE. Just before the last step, before entering any credit card information, you will see the total inc tax/fee for your bid.
