roboron Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Was accepted for 4 nights at Hyatt Regency Vancouver from June 30 - July 4. I started at $105 and was hoping that I would get an acceptance since others on this board got it at about the same price. Got rejected though and they gave me a chance to add $22 to the bid. Lost my nerve and said yes and got the Hyatt Regency for $127. I'm wondering if the price was higher because of the holiday (Canada Day)? In any case, still happy to have a nice place for $150 taxes included. Still ... what if I just re-bidded? Guess I'll never know ... :) Thanks for the board!!

pickles1107 Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Just for future reference, you should always rebid when PRICELINE tells you to add X amount to the bid. I've never seen them suggest the minimum "winning number" and usually you can undercut them...
