Priceline Hotel: 3* Ottawa-Hull (Gloucester) Chimo

Looking to book 2 nights in Ottawa on June 11th & June 12th, 2010.

Wish to avoid staying in the Ottawa-Downtown area due to extra parking costs.

Preferred location would be:

1) Ottawa - Hull (Gloucester)

2) Ottawa - Hull (West)

Can a 3* hotel be obtained under $65/night (excluding taxes + fees) in this area on June 11 & 12?

Noticed another poster obtained the Chimo Hotel for $48 + $5 bonus cash on different dates in July.

Priceline newbie here, so a bidding strategy would be greatly appreciated. Max of $65/night on a 3* in one of the above regions if possible.

Offer for $55 was rejected with a counter offer from PL requesting an additional $15.

Closed browser and bid $60 in Ottawa zone. Offer was rejected but received another counter offer from PL requesting an additional $17.

Increased bid to $63 added Gloucester and received the Chimo Hotel for: $63 + $12.91 (Tax/fees).
