gallafam Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Has this property been upgraded to a 4* - it was 3 1/2 a few weeks ago. It does seem worthy of the four star rating.

gallafam Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Stayed there two weekends ago. Its a decent hotel, with over 1,000 rooms. It was quiet, and I don't believe there were a lot of guests just judging on the number of people in the lobby. There's a large Marriott across the street which seemed to be full. There's valet parking ($28/night) or self-park ($21/night) in the basement. I am a hhonors VIP member and they honored that and gave me coupons for free continental breakfast. I paid $52 per night. When I checked in the desk clerk said "I see you booked thru Priceline - are they good?" I thought to myself "you have no clue how good it is to pay at least half of what most of the rest of the guests are paying".Summary - great hotel and great deal
khumph1 Posted May 2, 2010 Author Report Posted May 2, 2010 :) ok , I was reveling in my 62.00 deal at the hilton . You got it for 50 something . that is great . I use hotwire a lot , esp. for orlando ...It seems like Priceline has better hotels . i was going to take the 4 star hotwire (77.00 atlanta downtown ) , and went for the priceline bid instead.
