$75 per night, 5/13/10-5/17/10

Resort, Omni at Champions Gate - Disney Maingate

Started bidding at $60, used rebid method to increase bids by $5 until the $75 offer was accepted. Very happy with this choice and the price. Would have been equally happy with the other Resort in this category, Gaylord Palms Resort.

Used the PRICELINE link here.

thanks

The Omni is a RESORT class property in the (Disney Maingate - Celebration) zone, so you would want to bid "resort" (it's listed under the 1* i the list of star ratings at PRICELINE) in this zone.

HOWEVER, you can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, and there are other Resort class properties in this zone that you could receive.

If you're interested in trying to snag the Omni at Champions Gate, make sure you ONLY select RESORTS and DO NOT select 4-star. Select only the zone "Disney Maingate" as well. If your price is accepted, you will most likely get one of the two resorts in that area - the Omni at Champions Gate or Gaylord Palms resort. We stayed at Gaylord Palms last year and absolutely love it.

The "resort" catgeory is considered higher than a 4-star category.

Good luck,
