2 Adults traveling to NYC to see a Yankees Game

I would like to stay 3* or above and keep it around 150-200.

Central park south first choice, followed by midtown east then times square

want to walk and easy subway access (any other areas we should consider?)

I have planned a lot of trips using Hotwire/priceline, but this one is difficult. It seems like I am not getting anything bidding around 180. Please help.

I would love to use the subway after the game and not be too far away.

I bid $200 on 3.5 stars and up for Central Park South, midtown east, and MTW.

Any particular reason you didn't include the ESB and TS zone(s)? At the 4* level these are usually more expensive than the other zones you bid, but it couldn't hurt to include them in your bidding (assuming you're willing to stay in these areas too)

As rates are very high for this nite a 4* may be tough at under $200... at what point would you consider lowering your star rating OR a do-able but less convenient area?

I got the Club Quarters opposite Rockefeller center for $215 (before taxes) a little pricey, but I really like the location
