Hi, I am looking to stay in Turks and Caicos Providenciales (PLS) from 5/14/10 to 5/18/10. I checked this forum and was not able to find any historical Priceline or Hotwire wins. When I go to Priceline, I see two 4* hotel options, the Windsong and Somerset. Then when I go to the Name your Own Price tab, I see a 4* option. When I check Orbitz.com, there are a lot more than two 4* hotel options. Does anyone have experience with bidding on Priceline for Turks and Caicos? What are the chances that I would win the Windsong or Somerset if there are other 4* hotels in the area (that perhaps are just not listed in the List View? Thank you.

Can you please add a reply to your Priceline Aruba thread with the name of the hotel you received so that we can add this information to the topic title.

Please remember to follow-up your threads with whatever you ended up deciding to do for each trip so that the information can best help others in a timely manner... perhaps there is a user who recently won a hotel in Turks and Caicos whose information you could benefit from, but hasn't posted their win (just as you din't post your Aruba win). :)

See the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ regarding using the "retail" version of PRICELINE to determine what you will get when "naming your own price".

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know whatever you decide to do for this trip or if we can be of further help.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

I also have the same question...wondering what the options for the 4 star in Providenciales are...but no one has posted any winning hotel bids so I guess this is still unresolved?

I would also be interested in knowing the 3.5 star. I have seen elsewhere on the internet the 3 star is likely the Comfort Suites.

So, should I repost my question, even though it is the same question the OP had? I do not want to bid unless I have *some* idea of what I might get as I am attending a wedding at Grace Bay Club and want to be fairly close to it.
