I'm looking at 4-5* South Strip hotels on Hotwire for LV on 6/11-6/13. Prices are per night.

5* $118- Internet, Business Center, Restaurants, Pool, Fitness Center, Casino, Resort

4.5* $145- Condo, Studio, Casino, Non-Smoking, Daily Cleaning, A/C, Fitness, Pool

4.5* $156- Casino, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet, Golf/Tennis nearby.

I've been reading reviews for Aria and a lot of people complained about long check-in times and non-smoking rooms unavailable. Any thoughts?

Welcome to BetterBidding :)

I belive that you don't have listed all amenities for the hotels. If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?

Please re-list in this thread with complete amenitie combos.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Does HOTWIRE also show a RESORT icon associated with the 5* property? (as was indicated in your first post)

If so, the following are all matches for the above and my best guess for each:

5* - Aria

4.5* Condo - Planet Hollywood Towers

4.5* - possibly THEhotel at Mandalay Bay or Mandalay Bay.... but not certain of either, but given the 5* above is less doesn't seem like the best value anyway

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

Thank you for your help. Yes, the 5* does show RESORT. It's a great deal but I'm a little hesitant to book it since the Aria (if that's what it is) hasn't received the best reviews. I'll keep you posted as to what the outcome is.

Thanks again!
