Priceline Hotel: 2.5* San Francisco (Civic Center) Hotel Whitcomb

I was trying for aim for either the Hotel Whitcomb or the Holiday Inn Civic Center since some people here had success getting a hotel room at both properties for $42.

First tried bidding for 3* at $40, $42. No success, so I lowered the star level to 2.5* and got the Hotel Whitcomb. Originally, I bid for 4 nights, from May 9 - 13, but later extended my stay by a day at the same price without any problem.
