Hotwire Hotel: 3* Lancaster Hawthorn Suites

Here is one booked through HOTWIRE that I do not believe that I previously reported

Its listed as a 3 star hotel with Suites, Fitness Center, Complimentary breakfast, & Internet Connectivity. It is the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndam.

Suites have a queen bed (w pillow top matress) desk, sofa, kitchenette (w refrig, sink, and microwave) and an ample sized bath. Property is well maintained and the breakfast features three hot items that vary by day...Bacon, Sausage, Waffles, Potatoes, Eggs, + fruit, and all the things at a typical continental breakfast has (cereal, oatmean, bagles, bread, juice, coffee etc) They also give you a free buffet dinner on Wednesday night.

The property is well maintained and the staff is friendly and courteous and it would be a good place to stay had it not been for only one BIG negative.. Be advised that if you stay here, this will be one of the noisiest hotels that you will ever stay at . It is situated between two highways ( right in the middle) and the noise of the thosands of cars and trucks passing both sides on busy Rt 30 won't help you sleep well. They badly need noise barriers at this hotel.

If only for the noise, we will not stay at this hotel again.

We have been using the above HOTWIRE links to book. As for the price it was $67.00 per night and I see no way that this forum allows one to edit any post after 24 hours have past.
