Update to my initial thread:

This was the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun and I bid 4* and got that. I was not upgraded or was not told I was anyway.

Definitely worth $60!

I'm fairly certain this property is currently rated "Resort" by PRICELINE... if you go to the MY PROFILE >> MY TRIPS link on the top right corner of PRICELINE's home page, the bid will show as a 4* bid, but if you click the link in order read the contents of the winning bid confirmation page, does it state something to the effect

"Congratulations... we found a hotel to accept your $60 bid and have upgraded your star quality to a Resort hotel"

Ok-I went back and looked again- they didn't mention being upgraded- but when I open the whole confirmation page under the name before the address it does say resort- so I guess it is but I didn't know it lol.

Also the total was $145.46 for both rooms for 1 night.
