stu1901 Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Hi everyone. Just wondering if it is too early to start bidding for a hotel in San Francisco? I know it is possible, but would advise waiting until nearer the time? Thanks
stu1901 Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 Hi Just wanted to say i couldn't wait any longer.... i wanted to do it!So i choose 4 star in the Union Square East - Embarcadero region for 8/31 to 9/04 .I placed a bid of $75, and got rejected.I then had an offer to add $22 to the bid, but i rejected that.I then added Fishermans Warf area to my bid seing as it only went up to 3 stars in that area.Placed my bid at $77 per night.Bid accepted - Hyatt Regency San Francisco. Total for 4 nights is $368 including taxes. Not bad considering the cheapest rate for those nights is $255 per night thru their website!! :)
