Hotwire Hotel: Wailea hotel

Thought I would let you know I successfully bid $180 for a four star hotel in the Wailea area (Maui) - and got the Renaissance Beach Resort. A six night stay in July '05.

:) I think that's pretty good since the best rate searching the common sites gave me around $230+ for the best rate.

I'm assuming this was on Priceline, as you mention bidding, but it was posted in the Hotwire section... please confirm and i'll move it to that section.

Also, can you please provide the dates of your stay and confirm the star rating of this property. It's in our lists as a Resort hotel and it may have been downgraded to a 4*, but can you please look at your confirmation screen to see if you were upgraded or not on your 4* bid.
