wirehairs Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 I tried a $110 bid for Dupont Circle at 3.5 stars from 5/22-5/26 but no luck. I did try reducing the stars to 3 but no luck at $90. I tried to go up to $100 at that point, but it won't take the bid... The jump in my bid has to be more, perhaps?Anyhow, any advice is appreciated!
AaronJB Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)DC can definitely be expensive at times. Please provide the PRICELINE DC zones you would be interested in bidding for (is Dupont Cicle the only zone you're willing to accept), as well as desired max budget per night.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
wirehairs Posted April 26, 2010 Author Report Posted April 26, 2010 Yes, I guess Dupont Circle is certainly my preferred zone, but I could also extend to any adjacent zone if there's a metro stop convenient to the hotel. My max is $140/night including tax. Thanks!!
wirehairs Posted April 26, 2010 Author Report Posted April 26, 2010 I just tried a $100 in Dupont Circle - still no luck. :)
thereuare Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 What is your maximum bid amount (ie- before taxes and fees)What star rating did you just try for at the $100 bid amount? Are you familiar with and using your re-bid zones? (see Priceline Re-Bidding Explained for more info, but if you're new to the topic, it's highly recommended you confirm your re-bid zones with the board before bidding)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
