I was hoping for a 3.5* to 4* hotel but have been having no luck so far. I have bid up to $125 for a 4* and up to $60 for a 3*. I really didn't want to go above $120 for a 4* so think I may have to look for a lower star room. My next step will be to try a little higher for a 3* I guess.

I've done all the bidding I can today and will be out of town for the weekend, so probably won't be able to bid again until Monday. I'll try though...

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I dug a little deeper and Boston University's Commencement is on May 16th so i suspect that is part of the reason for the very strong demand for these dates.

Have you tried 3.5* bidding at all?

What i believe to be the Hyatt Regency Cambridge is available for $139/nite... the reviews aren't the best, but they do have a shuttle which runs on every 30 minutes (until 6:30pm) to the subway station, if something like this would work for your needs (or at least an option if things continue to get tougher)

Reply to this post when you return after the weekend and we'll have a fresh look to see if availability has changed at all (hopefully for the better)

The group I am involved with acquired a really good group rate, so I won't be bidding any more for this trip. I'm sure I will use BetterBidding in the future though and appreciate all the help I received. Thanks again.
