chilz Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Bid for 2 rooms during beginning of Jazz Fest.Used permutation method starting at $75, increasing bid in $5 increments. Finally after the 6th free re-bid (A+C+D), got it at $105 per room per night.Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $105.00 (USD)Number of Rooms: 2Number of Nights: 3Room Subtotal: $630.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $121.92 (USD)Total Room Cost: $751.92 (USD)I've used this site and PRICELINE to get rooms for many years now for Montreal. This is the 2nd time I've gotten the Marriott which is a very classy hotel. Very happy with this outcome although the price is the highest I've ever had to pay on PRICELINE. I suspect it's due to the jazz fest and trying to get 2 rooms on the same bids.
