While I was stranded for five days in Istanbul, I found people who had used Hotwire and identified all hotels on the list:

5* is the Crowne Plaza Old City with restaurant, HSIA, and business center. I looked at the hotel. Lobby and rooms were nice.

4 1/2 * is Holiday Inn. Has a very convenient shuttle to take you almost every hour to and from the airport, and three or four shuttles per day into Sultanamet. There is also a tram (1.50 TL) directly in front of the hotel. I did not see a room, but the lobby was nice and the employees even nicer.

3 1/2 * is Courtyard Airport, where I stayed, although I booked directly through Marriott. (Sorry, no time to go through your site- there were 20 people in line behind me trying to book their own hotels.) This hotel is close to airport and had 6-7 runs per day to airport, one 9:00 run to Sultanamet, pick up back to hotel at 4:45. This makes this hotel do-able, but not ideal for tourists. Hotel was a standard Courtyard, with fantastic staff, mediocre restaurant. I was glad to be close to the airport and in a no surprises hotel.

I'm home after a detour through Vienna and a 7 hour ICE train. Still thousands stranded at IST.

Sorry about the 3 1/2. Amenities are fitness, pool, restaurant, HSIA, Business Center, spa. Spa was very pricey, but very good massage. BTW, the Hotwire rate is $5 more than their own site, (with an exchange rate of 0.72) so I booked through their site to get points. Again, sorry I did not use your link -I know you have direct hotel links, too.
