thereuare Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 I am just browsing (at this point) for a birthday weekend trip. Please only ask for hotel IDs once your plans are firm and you're ready to commit to a purchase... it can take a considerable amount of time to perform multiple HOTWIRE searches and research hotels, and these may not even be the hotels offered once you're ready to make your purchase. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. mikki Posted April 21, 2010 Author Report Posted April 21, 2010 If I can find what I'm thinking this hotel might be for under $100 per night, I will most certainly book. At this point I say I am browsing only because the price is listed at $133 - so I have to think about it a bit before I bite. I may very well book it - I'd simply like to find a lesser expensive option to allow both a very nice hotel and an extra nice dinner or two during the weekend - so I have to think about it first.I'd love the Conrad, the James, or the Intercontinental for $99. I've seen on the boards that others have been lucky enough to find this deal. If it does pop up, I will most certainly bite immediately. I was merely wanting help recognizing the listing at this point. I apologize for having taken your time with what is apparently an invalid request for these boards. I am new to the boards; however, I always do take the time to come here first and use the boards' links before starting my searches for these listings (in an effort to support the site).
AaronJB Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Rates do vary by dates - while some have gotten the Intercontinental/Conrad/James for at/around the $100 mark for dates recently, prices may be a bit higher for these August dates. There is a mid-sized convention during these dates, but not enough to cause serious price increases.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
