chocoholic_chick Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Boo, hiss. I was expecting the Palazzo and got Trump instead for $120/night. This is the first time I am disappointed by the results of my bid on Priceline. :)
chocoholic_chick Posted April 19, 2010 Author Report Posted April 19, 2010 Follow-up: I called Priceline's customer service and demanded why I got the Trump Hotel when I was bidding in the Las Vegas Strip North area and NOT the North Vicinity. They allowed me to cancel my booking for a $25 fee. However, they charged me one night's fee and will refund me the money less the $25 when I get a new booking. The lady on the phone was very helpful and canceling so I can get the area I want is worth the extra $25.
AaronJB Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Glad to hear that PRICELINE was willing to work with you, given the zone issue.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
thereuare Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Did PRICELINE state that you accidentally selected the North Strip Vicinity zone by mistake OR do they claim that this property is in the North Strip zone? (in both zones??)If you look at your PRICELINE winning bid confirmation page (still viewable by going to the MY PROFILE>>MY TRIPS link at the top right of their home page)... what zone is listed under the hotel name but above the hotel address?THANKS! chocoholic_chick Posted April 20, 2010 Author Report Posted April 20, 2010 To clarify, Priceline claimed that I accidentally selected the North Strip Vicinity zone by mistake. They do NOT claim that this property is in the North Strip zone. I hope that helps!
