bballrob
We're heading to Oahu and want to stay at the Turtle Bay Resport from April 26-29, 2010 -- 3 Nights.I'm brand new to priceline, never bid there before. I saw one where someone got a weekend rate at this property for 168 per night. I have bid twice, the first time for 145, then I tried the "add a zone" trick, adding honolulu airport, and increased to $157 per night. Got rejected again. Being new, I'm a little nervous and don't want to get stuck someplace else. If I'm understanding this correctly though, I think I should be able to add the following "zones" without adding any additional actual resorts, and still gradually increase my offer. The additional zones I think I can add without screwing anything up and ending up at some other resorts are as follows:1. Diamond Head2. Executive Center3. Honolulu Airports5. Oahu North Shore -- This is the zone Turtle Bay is located in6. Waianae8. Waikiki City CentralI just want to make sure that Adding any of those zones I listed, as long as the only Star Level I select is RESORTS, the only possible resort it would put me in is Turtle Bay Resort, as none of those other regions have RESORTS in them as far as I can tell. Can anyone confirm this for me?Thanks in advance,Rob Link to comment
bballrob
SUCCESS!!!OK, I got a little impatient and decided to add one more zone that appeared to have no resorts in it (Diamond Head). It worked!! I also increased my bid to $160 per night. And they accept it.So, we're going to the Turtle Bay for $160 per night from April 26-29, 2010!!!WOOOHOOO!!!! Link to comment
