got the 3.5* Westin Tampa Harbour Island (Tampa-Downtown) for 2 nights / 55 $ on 5/26-5/28/10.

Does anyone know anything about this area? Nightlife, Restaurants...

Depends what you are looking for with regard to nightlife and food. Hyde Park is a 5 minute taxi ride, and there are a number of bars there(I like The Rack). Channelside is walking distance, andis lively on the weekends. Foodwise, one of the top steak places in the country is nearby as well... Bern's. Gallaghers is another steak place in Channelside, and Thai tani is right next to it(great sushi). Cafe Dufrain is on Harbor Island and is good. It all depends on what you are looking for...
