Priceline Hotel: 4* San Jose (Sunnyvale-Santa Clara) Hilton Santa Clara

I previously booked 6/11-6/12 at the Hilton Santa Clara (but for 4 rooms) and I coouldn't add a night before for just one of the bedrooms so I had to rebid and hope for the same hotel which I got lucky and got (although the Hilton and the Hyatt as the only 4*'s in that area are right next to each other).

First bid $61, second $66, third $71, 4th $76, 5th $86 (and was given offer to buy if increased bid by $22), 6th and final bid $97. The next night we have for $61 for the 4 rooms so I guess the $36 increase from a weekday to a weekend is due to business travelers in Silicon Valley.
