Priceline Hotel: Asheville 3* and 3.5* Rejections

Tried 3.5*, Downtown-Biltmore Estate, $38. Rejected

Added Asheville Airport, tried $48, rejected.

Added Biltmore Square Mall, $65, rejected.

Added 3.0*, reduced bid to $55, rejected.

Any thoughts? I might wait a couple of weeks and try again...

Thanks for the reply - I guess paying up to $100 would be fine, but I had been hoping to get a bargain!

HOTWIRE does have a 2.5* for $68 (w/breakfast) and a 3* for $105 in the Central Asheville area for this date. Given that this is only for one night, the 2.5* for $68 may be worth considering, as it would offer breakfast and shows a 4/5 tripadvisor rating on the detail page for the listing.

I'll also add that there is a lot of 'gap' between your $65 (for a 3.5*) and $55 (at the 3*) bids and your $100 maximum bid... are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR are you looking for a lower rated hotel for a little less money? (such as the 2.5* HOTWIRE offering above)
