splitcross Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Hi everyone,I'm looking to book a Niagara Hotel from May 9-10 and have done a few searches in the forum but did not find an answer.Regarding the Niagara hotels that I am interested in booking with Priceline, are the choice of the rooms (Suites, Guest Rooms) as well as the "View" (Fallsview, Cityview, Riverview) chosen at random depending on hotel availability? Other individual's winning bid topics on this forum do not state the "View" or "Type" of room that they have won. Is the only way to find out is to contact the hotel after winning the bid and request for an upgrade if I am not satisfied with the room that they are providing me?
AaronJB Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)In general, PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservations are not eligible for upgrades (such as "view" rooms), given the discount off regular rate. One can request an upgrade at check-in, but the hotel could require an upgrade fee or say no. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
