Hotwire Hotel: Help ID Spartanburg 3* 10/8 - 10/10 $79

Can anyone identify this 3 star hotel in Spartanburg, SC, which Hotwire lists for $79 for 10/8 - 10/10/2010?

The amenities are:

airport shuttle, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, laundry, high-speed internet

I've never seen any posts here about Spartanburg, but it can't hurt to ask.

For some reason, the board admin needs to know that I didn't book a room in the end.

Concluding your threads helps keep the board better organized and more useful to others... certainly you can understand how a future user reading this thread would be more informed knowing that you canceled the trip, rather than left wondering if you won a hotel but didn't post the win, booked something directly, etc.

I would say that this would be the Marriott Spartanburg. It is not on the highway but is a beautiful new hotel located in downtown Spartanburg. I have bid and stayed there twice. I would stay there again...best hotel in Spartanburg.

Ditto that it probably is the Marriott, however there is a nicer new hotel in Spartanburg- the Holiday Inn Express Spartanburg North. Just opened about a year ago and it was so nice.
