ptstanto
I have a long test on Apr 29 and was hoping to get a cheap hotel within walking distance from 8501 West Higgins Rd. It appears to be located near the Chicago/O'Hare area on Hotwire, but I haven't had any luck. Mapquest mentioned a bunch of hotels, but I wondered if any other med students taking Step 2 CS had any advice. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
I think you'll have better success if you re-phrase your question...You say that you've had no luck on HOTWIRE, but given that hotwire shows you hotels and star ratings, what is it that you don't seem to have any luck with? What is your expected budget? ptstanto
I would love to find a room for right around $50/night within walking distance from the given address. However, it is between areas listed on Hotwire. Not sure where to go from here. Link to comment
thereuare
Given the size of the zone, and your desire to be within walking distance, i don't think that your plans are flexible enough to use one of the opaque services. From what i can, there is a SpringHill Suites (a marriott branded hotel) which is very close for $89/nite, and this is likely your least expensive option. There is also a Marriott for $119 and a Holiday Inn for $91 which i would look into.Good Luck on your exams. shopout
Coincidentally I have been employed as a standardized patient...There are a lot of hotels around the area...consider using public transportation...that may give you more flexibility...the building is not far from the Blue line.
