andertim1 Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 I'm new to this board, but used it a few times for information. We want to go to vegas and use hotwire as a booking tool, but we only want to stay in the center of the strip. I now see that center strip has been removed and its either south of north strip. We would like to say at either the Mirage, Paris, or Treasure Island. We would love Wynn or Vientian but that's probably out of our price range for fourth of july weekend. Can someone help with how to know if our top 3 hotels are listed as south or north. Any tips on getting those would be appriciated. I found one for south that I liked but after more research I'm afraid it's the MGM not the Paris. I think they offer exactly the same amenities. I found another one on south that I'm not sure about here are the items listed.Casino, fitness, pools, restaurants, business center, Golf nearby, spa service. It's north strip and a 75% customer rating. Also says 25 dollar resort fee. $115 with out fee and 4 star.2nd hotel I think is MGM4 star 85% customer ratingCasino, fitness center, pools, restaurants, business center, high speed internet access, golf nearby, tennis nearby, and spa. Strip South $102 per night and no mention of resort fee. I think this is same exact listing as Paris but don't know if Paris is north or south.Thanks...Thanks and any advice for Mirage, Paris, or Treasure Island would help.

Paris in the South Strip zone. What are the actual date(s) of your stay and budget per nite? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. andertim1 Posted April 15, 2010 Author Report Posted April 15, 2010 The dates we were looking at were July 1st - 5th and we were trying to stay below $125 per night. I don't think that I saw the Mirage listed on the hotel page listing its amenities.
thereuare Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Best guess for each of the above is that the 4* South Strip property is the MGM and the 4* North Strip property is the Treasure Island. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. andertim1 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Report Posted June 11, 2010 To close this posting out, we ended up getting an offer from Veneitian/ Palazzo for upto 4 free nights because we sailed on carnival cruise lines and we took them up on there offer. We are staying in vegas at the palazzo July 11-14th for no charge. We are coming back in November and next memorial day weekend for sure. Thanks for all the help.
