THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I just found your website about 10-15 mins ago and was lurking trying to find out what kind of hotels Hotwire offers based on the local and star rating. Then I saw your PRICELINE forum and links and was like, TRY THAT - cause Lard (yes I meant Lard) knows my behind is on a budget. BTW, this hotel stay is a SURPRISE birthday present for my boyfriend :) .

I had over 20 tabs open trying to find a place. Even with my AAA card, four star places were still at least $220+. This search was a mess! But I digress.

So back to the good news... :)

My bf has been telling me for over 2 years now, how much he wants to take me to the W Hotel NY for drinks. He passed by it when he used to work at HBO and we have never had a chance to go....

UNTIL NOW!!!

I put in $125 (because I saw another person did the same thing today for MTE and got the Hyatt) and put in MTE & MTW, after verifying my CCV, I went to another IE tab as it pondered my request. I figured if they asked for that, then I got something just not knowing what. I checked back like two times before it finally refreshed itself and LOW AND BEHOLD IT WAS THE W NY BABY YEAH!!! :o

Total w/ taxes and fees $157! :) THE W people... THEE W! :D I saved LITERALLY 50% off the Cozy Room!

Certainly a terrific deal for this W property, which was the first W and was renovated not too long ago. Glad to hear you were able to get the hotel you were hoping for, as well.

If possible, a nice move is to try to check-in early by yourself so you get a room key... then tell your boyfriend that you're going to take him to the W for drinks like you had always talked about. Once you're done with your drinks just look at him ask "Do you want to go upstairs?"
