Tallblazer124 Posted April 12, 2010 Author Report Posted April 12, 2010 Ok i didnt follow up with the previous thread because i booked through PRICELINE. I will follow up though.
thereuare Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 Ok i didnt follow up with the previous thread because i booked through PRICELINE.Please follow-up all your threads with whatever you ended up doing for the stay (even if you don't use PRICELINE or HOTWIRE) as it keeps the board better organized and lets future users know what ultimately happened for the stay, rather than left wondering if you eventually won a hotel and didn't post the results. As well, your winning PRICELINE information could help another user looking to bid this area either around the same time as your stay or for another date in the future. The HOTWIRE property above is a match for previous reports of the Westin so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Tallblazer124 Posted April 28, 2010 Author Report Posted April 28, 2010 Ok just a follow up to my previous request where you informed me that it would be the westin. I decided not to go back to Aruba this year and decided to go to Punta Cana. I searched and i Searched and i decided not to use priceline or hotwire. I actually used Travelocity top secret hotel feature to book my punta Cana trip. The hotel i recieved was dreams Palm beach. dates are 5/29/10 - 6/2/10 the total cost was 450 dollars for 2 adults fully all inclusive plus 200 dollars rebate in spa treatment and other hotel special services. This was an amazing deal. Also before getting the hotel it was kinda obvious it would have been dreams PB because when you look it up regularlly it was the only 4 star hotel offering 200 dollar rebate in services. Anyway I think this was a great deal i hope this post helps.
thereuare Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 Thanks for the follow-up and 'closing' this thread. Can you let us know if there were any amenities showing before your purchase of the Dreams Punta Cana? I'm not that familiar with the Travelocity confirmation page just yet, but perhap it shows under "your account" or some other similar named link? I believe the icons are Pool and Complimentary Breakfast, but please confirm. Also, please note from our support page that we're an affiliate of Travelocity, please use our links there for your future travel purchases.Thanks. Tallblazer124 Posted April 28, 2010 Author Report Posted April 28, 2010 Yup the ammenities that were shown were Swimming Pool, and Courtesy Breakfast. Its kinda Weird because it seems as though there are much more Ammenities offered at this hotel but they will only tell you those 2. Either way though its pretty easy to guess what hotel will be the top secret one when you use Travelocity. I just choose to use Travelocity because Dreams had good reviews and the hotwire 4* hotel that was offered to the same destination was Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro Resort which also had good reviews but not as good as Dreams, and also dreams was a little bit cheaper compared. Ps i knew it was goign to be Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro Resort from reading the summary from your site. Wonderful site! I am reffering everyone here. LOL........ Anyway if you need any other information regarding this trip please let me know.
thereuare Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 Thanks for the additional information... and for helping to spread the word about BetterBidding! :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
