Priceline Hotel: Help with 4-star in Banff, Alberta please.

I am trying to book 2 nights in Banff, Alberta for April 25 and April 26.

All hotels on PRICELINE are truely 4-star except the Banff Park Lodge, which is actually a 3-star hotel and listed as a 4-star on PRICELINE.

Anyone with any experience in this category or bidding strategies? I tried 69$ and 79$ today and both got rejected.

Thanks Aaron for the reply - I have been using this site for years now, and because of it, I have stayed in the best hotels and at rock bottom prices.

I would love to get a 4 star for under 100-110 bucks a night with all taxes and fees in - I know on HOTWIRE the Rimrock Hotel (4.5 star) is gong for 130$ ish...

We're glad to hear the board has been helpful with your purchases for years, but it's somewhat disappointing that you haven't shared any of your wins with the board... perhaps some of your previous wins would have helped other users, just as the wins have others have helped with your own stays. :)

Did you get a 4*? I'm also trying to book... I agree the BPL is NOT a 4*.
