theatrefreak76
Hi guys! Very first time posting here... My wife and I always go to NYC in the summer... We usually stay at the Milford Plaza... It's not the Hyatt or anything too special but it's a clean room and that's all we need... Last time we paid 129.00 per room for FOUR people... We're now going in October and was shocked to see the prices were sooooooooo much higer! 325.00 for four people per night! That is crazy... Any ideas? We've got a total of 6 people going... One room w/ 2 and 1 room w/ 4... I've never used priceline and have been very nervous before because we want to stay in the heart of Time Square... Any help would be great! Link to comment
GM Mike
Welcome -- My first instinct is to discourage you from using priceline. In Times Square you're fairly likely to get a SMALL room from priceline that would not fit four people. You may still get a good value from searching for a 4-person room on hotwire. Also, before you use priceline the first time, I'd strongly recommend you read the PRICELINE FAQ posted here.In the final analysis, it may be cheaper to bid on THREE rooms on priceline... What are your thoughts about that? Can you deal with potentially not getting any special requests, such as non-smoking or connecting rooms? Link to comment
