Priceline Hotel: 3* NYC (MTW) Sheraton Manhattan

I just booked the Sheraton Manhattan for $100 a night for July 2-4. There will be 3 of us splitting the cost of the room so it ends up being $83 (tax included) for each of us. Can't beat that! Hopefully it will be an okay hotel, but for the price, we can't complain.

I'd be sure to call the hotel and put in a request for a room with two beds (assuming that's what you want) as there are a high percentage of rooms in NYC that only have one bed.

sometimes it can help tame a snotty desk clerk that has a Priceline bias, so if you present it when you check in, it might help you get your room preference, i.e., two beds, one king, smoking, room with a view, room on a high floor, etc. When booking with Priceline, there are no guarantees that you will get your room preference, but if you present an "affinity" card, it can't hurt :)
