kimwilli57
I am guessing a 4.5 star hotel in Monterey is the Intercontinental Clement, however one of the amenities listed is “Resort,” which doesn’t appear on any of the lists of possible amenities on your “Hotwire Hotel List.” It is being offered on Tuesday, Oct. 6 for $174. I can get a prepaid rate of $217 by booking directly on the Intercontinental website. Here are the amenities listed: Business Center, Internet, Resort, Fitness Center, Oceanfront, Restaurants, Golf Nearby, Pool(s), Laundry. It is showing as having a 95% recommendation rate and 4.5 on Tripadvisor, which matches with the Clement. Also, I need a room with 2 beds, which the Clement offers. If I put 3 adults on my search/booking, can I be assured of a 2 bed room? Thanks in advance. Kim Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. If you click on the listing, then click "book now", then "see all amenities", do you see: Resort, Oceanfront, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Golf, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower If so, I'd guess the Intercontinental with the addition of resort. Searching for 3 guarantees bedding for the entire party - that may mean 2 beds, 1 + rollaway or 1 + sofa. Please keep us updated on what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions. kimwilli57
No, when I click on see more amenities only those ones I listed before show up. One of the reviews refers to the Clement by name. Can I trust this?? Another says it is only steps to the aquarium, which would also make me think it is the Intercontinental Cement. Link to comment

thereuare
...when I click on see more amenities only those ones I listed before show up.If you do your search again using the BiddingHelper.com EASY VIEW i think you'll see the longer list of amenities that AaronJB provided above. Alternately you can search as follows to see the complete amenity set: Search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...click the offeron the next page click the BOOK NOW linkin the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesUsing either/both of the methods above do you now see: Resort Oceanfront Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if so, a slightly new amenity set for the InterContinental The Clement would be my guess for this one. I will add that i'm also see this 4* Monterey hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) on PRICELINE EXPRESS for $169/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center ... my guess for this one would also be the InterContinental The Clement (a little cheaper then the HOTWIRE offer above, but no way to guarantee two beds in the room other then to make a request at check-in) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. kimwilli57
When I used the Bidding.Helper link I do see that full set of amenities. I still don't see them when I use the direct HOTWIRE link and follow your instructions, so I guess I am challenged in some way. :) Anyway, thanks for your help. I see the price has now gone up to $237, which is more than it would cost me to book directly. :( Link to comment

If you decide to book direct, please use our InterContinental link (also found in our Support Page) or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com. Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay.
