AaronJB
From the looks of Hotwire prices, a Priceline 4* bid in either main downtown area will take around $65. Link to comment
rickster
Do I need to wait the 72 hours before trying again? Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are not high for these dates. You didn't give a bidding limit, but with your two re-bid zones, this is how i would bid on your next opportunity:Selelct 4* Loop...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $53, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Selelct 4* NMA...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $53, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Selelct 4* Loop and NMA...Bid $58, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $62, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $66.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck. rickster
I went through the bidding sequence you listed and I kept getting rejected saying that I had placed a duplicate request. :)Edit:OK, went back on cause I got tied of playing around and got 4* Westin Michigan ave NMA for $80 2/10. thereuare
So how were you able to bid again? Did you stop getting the duplicate bid messages?I see there is an $80 on Hotwire... is that where you purhcased this? If so, please include the amenities that were shown before your purchase; still viewable by going to Hotwire and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. Please clarify so that we can properly classify this thread in the right forum.Thanks. rickster
This was on priceline. I just kept closing the browser after the second rebid got rejected and then got back on starting at a higher dollar amount. $80 was the final number. Link to comment
