Priceline Hotel: 3* Memphis (East) Four Points

Started with Memphis East 3* $45 8/29-9/2 but rejected

Added Southeast $50 but rejected

Changed checkout date to 8/31 and raised bid to $52 and got Four Points

2 nights: $104

Taxes and fees: $24.92

Total: $128.92

Really wanted the Doubletree East since Four Points (old Park Place Inn) was not enjoyable the last time I was there. I see they added a $10 breakfast buffet. Maybe they also changed their management. The 8/25/11 review on TripAdvisor was not complimentary.

The hotel is much better than the last time. There looks to be just one holdover at the front desk. I was not happy they could not supply a receipt when I had them fax my daily paperwork (to an 800 number).

I tried to use the PL option to extend my stay for 2 more days, but that was unsuccessful and I was offered the extension for $79 as opposed to my original $52.

If you were looking for a receipt for your room purchase it's not uncommon that hotels can't produce this since PRICELINE is the one who actually paid for the room (with their own credit card) and the hotel doesn't know the actual amount you paid... only the amount PRICELINE paid.
