kalikid4life
I am trying to book the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf from 7/22/11 - 7/24/11 and i have noticed that people have won it by bidding earlier in the year with 3.5* and the last winning post at the beginning of July was won with a 4*. Does anyone know if the star rating has changed? Link to comment
Colfax
Welcome to BetterBidding, kalikid4life.On Priceline Hyatt FW is rated 3.5*. On Hotwire it's 4*.Hotwire has a 4* in FW for 7/22-7/24 but the icons aren't a match for Hyatt. You can try bidding for a 3.5* on Priceline but some other 3.5* could come up besides Hyatt. Please use these HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links for your purchases. kalikid4life
Thank you both for your reply but perhaps i needed to make my question more clear. On February 15, 2011 member janinedg posted that he won the Hyatt "3.5* San Francisco (Fishermans Wharf) Hyatt Fisherman Wharf, $85 ... 4/28/11-5/1/11"On July 2, 2011 member sox15 posted that he won the Hyatt "4* San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf) Hyatt, $98 ... 7/3/11-7/4/11"I'm trying to find out why the difference in the star's? Is this usual for priceline to change the stars of hotels? Link to comment
Colfax
The 3.5* win you referenced was on Priceline. The 4* purchase was on Hotwire.HW and PL adjust hotel quality ratings frequently--a half point up or half point down.At last reports Hyatt FW was 3.5* on Priceline and 4* on Hotwire. That could change at any time. Link to comment
