Priceline Hotel: A/C Resort Hotel on Boardwalk Memorial Day

Hello,

Looking for a hotel on the boardwalk for Altlantic City 05/27 -05/29 best rate found was at Tropicana Inn 271.00. Where should I start bidding and what options do I choose.

For comparison Hotwire has: 3* for $227

Oceanfront, Near Beach, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Tennis Nearby, Business Center.

Looking at that price, it could be $180 or more to win a 3* on PL.

I would be happy with anything on the Boradwalk so I can go as high as 200.00 per night

And there lies the problem... the zones on both priceline and HOTWIRE cover more area than just the boardwalk.

No, if you choose "Atlantic City Area" you can end up anywhere within the shaded region that priceline labels the Atlantic City Area. You can only get a hotel in the Atlantic City West zone if you also select that zone as well.

I tried Atlantic City 3 times highest bid was 205 per night. I saw on HOTWIRE it was about 227.00 per night to get something so I'm still trying.

this is the un-official first weekend of the summer at the Jersey Shore. No, we don't "go to the beach", we go "down the shore" :)

You will have a difficult time staying in Atlantic City for less than $200 and probably won't get an oceanfront or boardwalk property. You might want to make a cancellable backup reservation immediately then try to improve your lot with priceline or hotwire as you get closer to Memorial Day weekend. Lots of properties on the Black Horse/White Horse Pike in the West Atlantic City and Absecon area, but these will sell out as we all want to get some sand in our shoes this weekend :) (or at least hit the casinos in case of rain)
