Konabound2010
Hi all - first timer here. I have not used PRICELINE in a while and I think when I did use it, I bid and if it was accepted, my card was charged, etc. It did not "counter back" with a higher suggestion. Does PL now make a counter offer if your initial offer is not accepted? Also, will I be able to choose my seat on the flight (if I was normally allowed to) or will using PL negate my ability to be able to choose an available seat just because I used Priceline? Currently flights to Kona, HI from Atlanta (ATL) are roughly $800 with 2 stops plus taxes and fees. I am going out in a month for the Ironman Triathlon and need to figure my flight out asap - thanks in advance for any insight.KB 2010 Link to comment
my3kids
I had what I thought was great luck with air to Kona. I was able to pick seats during the PRICELINE process, after United accepted my bid. I actually was able to upgrade to the more leg room seats via the United website. When I picked the seats initially thru PRICELINE, the seat map was the same as all of them: not all back row seats or centers fpr PRICELINE fliers. Link to comment
