nic31h
I am new to this but think i have a good understanding of the whole process except for one thing..how do you search for hotels offered under each star? in all the forums people have listings saying ID this hotel for $x in aa.. how do they find this info out without actually bidding??one more question.. i have gathered if you want a lower star rating i.e. 1* or 2* its best to prob just book using the hotel website or something as you dont get as big a discount.. in general, the higher the star rating the bigger the saving right?? thereuare
This board mostly covers PRICELINE and HOTWIRE purchases. The "please help ID" this property is typically asked of HOTWIRE offerings, for which there is no bidding involved (PRICELINE is the service where you bid on hotels)You can read about the similarities, and differences, between each service here:I've Never Used Priceline or HotwirePlease read the link above and then feel free to ask any questions you may have. For help with a specific upcoming stay feel free to ask for help in the appropriate state category below. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
The Waikiki Central property is a match for the Outrigger Luana Waikiki while the Waikiki Beach property is a match for the Aston Waikiki Beach so that would be our best guess for each. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. thereuare
The 3* above matches previous reports for the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel so that would be my best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. nic31h
is the Aqua Waikiki Waves hotel no longer available thru priceline? you cant book it normally ontheir site?? does anyone know if you bid it will still come up maybe?? for a 3* central waikiki?? Link to comment
thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. There are no "announcements" made when a hotel stops working with PRICELINE on the bidding side, so there is no way to know if a hotel is no longer available thru the "name your own price" side of their service. However, i'd use caution trying to use the retail side of PRICELINE to determine what's available thru the name your own price side of PRICELINE, as per the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
