msams Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 Before bidding I looked on Expedia/Travelocity and most 3* properties were $79 to $130I also followed the HOTWIRE link and did a quick search there, the best rate was $39 for a 3* at the airportI then followed the PRICELINE link and bid $37, $41, and $44 in other zones (not the airport) to see if I could get a better property closer to where I wanted to be.
